The Children Shall Lead Them Health is Wealth Summer Program 2012

We have had a lot of exciting teaching and learning taking place over the past five weeks and I am so thankful for all of the wonderful parents and volunteers who have participated in our program. We are truly practicing the village concept of UJIMA- collect work and responsibility. One of the goals of this program is to provide high quality, safe and affordable academic and artistic enrichment programming for the children of working parents. We believe in and bring to life the old African proverb, that “It takes a village to raise a child.”  Below are a few pictures of our summer experience in the year 2012 in Columbus, Ohio.
