Crew
Manager A highly organized and composed individual. In order to bring out the best in all aspects of the production, the stage manager must be able to handle a highly stressful environment and to communicate the needs of the Director to the various technical departments. He/she will be in charge of calling all stage cues and ensuring that everything is in order before the curtains open. The stage manager should also be a constant source of support and encouragement for the performers and technicians.
Backstage Crew
The Backstage Crew is responsible for moving sets, set pieces and props into their proper positions on stage during production. The crew is required to rehearse their actions in an organized and attentive manner as this movement of sets is done in darkness. When called into action, they must be quick and silent in placing each item on its mark so as not to cause confusion with the actors in the middle of their performance.
Lighting operators
Lighting is an important element that sets the mood of the play and focuses the attention of the audience. In this department, we are looking for individuals who have previous experience in lighting design, setup, and control systems. Candidates should possess creativity, skill, and have full knowledge of lighting needs based upon the production. It is also important for the candidate to comprehend the use of the equipment provided in the facility and to be present at all technical rehearsals after lighting cues are set.
Sound engineers
Candidates should be able to generate sound effects to help set the atmosphere on stage and to ensure sound safety throughout the entire course of rehearsals and production. The sound technician must also be familiar with the sound script, which is a chart detailing all the actions that must be performed in the show.
Choreography & Coaching
We are seeking a stage choreographer, voice teacher, and drama teacher to coach our performers. If you have previous experience in theatre or musical productions, join us and help hone the acting and singing skills of our performers!
Costuming
A dynamic team of Costume Designers and Tailors to detail the costuming needs based upon the script and to design costumes for the characters . Candidates must be able to sketch and style each of the costumes required by each of the actors, and are adventurous enough to experiment with colors and textures. Wardrobe Personnel, who will be put solely in charge of costume care during performances and rehearsals whilst ensuring that actors look their best. Keeping costumes organized, clean, and safe from damage is an important aspect of the role.
Make-up & Hair
Make-up is a fundamental aspect of stage performance. We are seeking make-up artistes who can whip up interesting make-up techniques to help our actors look their best on stage. Make-up may also be used to depict injury or to establish age.
We also require Hair Stylists who are dedicated in conceptualizing styles and techniques to befit each character. Candidates should be creative, skilled, and have an eye for detail.
Set design
Set Design and Construction requires team effort and can be a very demanding task, involving the talents and knowledge of many people. We are looking for team-players who are innovative, artistic, and have a keen interest in building set pieces (this includes everything from trees to furniture) that are necessary for the script. Other roles include the construction of props and set decoration such as painting.
